The Beginning of a Clear Calling

K!DS ’n Missions was founded in 2001 by Elton and Gail Wells with a clear vision: to strengthen local churches by equipping and training children’s ministry leaders. What began as a passion for engaging children in missions has grown into a structured School of Children’s Ministry focused on developing leaders who disciple the next generation.

Over the years, their work has impacted churches throughout Guatemala and Central America, equipping leaders who now serve faithfully in schools, churches, kids clubs, and community ministries.

Elton began his work in missions in 1993, leading his first group of young people to Mexico. Through decades of ministry experience, he recognized the need for intentional training and practical tools for those serving in children’s ministry. He earned an Associate’s Degree in Business from Tulsa Community College, studied Children’s Ministry at Rhema Bible Training Center, and has served as an ordained minister for many years.

Gail holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Southeastern Louisiana University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from Mid-America Nazarene University. She has taught in both public and private Christian schools for more than twenty-five years, bringing depth, structure, and educational excellence to the School of Children’s Ministry.

Elton and Gail are licensed and ordained ministers through Victory Fellowship of Ministries. Together, Elton and Gail are committed to raising up confident, biblically grounded leaders who will disciple children and strengthen their churches.

Through classroom instruction, mentorship, and practical ministry application, they continue to invest in leaders who multiply their influence in communities throughout Central America and beyond.
