School of Children’s Ministry

Developing Children's Ministry Leaders for Christ-Centered Impact.

School of Children’s Ministry

The School of Children’s Ministry was created to strengthen the local church by equipping those who serve children.

Churches across Central America are eager to disciple the next generation. What is often missing is structured training and practical systems to support that vision. This School provides intentional leadership development that prepares children’s ministry leaders to build sustainable, Christ-centered programs within their own communities.

A Three-Level Progression

The School is intentionally structured in three levels: Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced.

Each level includes 20 hours of focused classroom instruction and must be completed in full before progressing to the next stage. This structure ensures accountability, continuity, and meaningful development rather than surface-level exposure.

Leaders do not simply attend lectures. They engage in practical learning designed to prepare them for real ministry environments within their own churches and communities.

Completion of each level results in formal recognition and a diploma, affirming their commitment and readiness for greater responsibility.

The long-term goal of the School is not simply to train individual leaders, but to create ministry systems that multiply.

Graduates are equipped to mentor others, train volunteers, and build structured children’s ministries that continue to grow long after the course is completed.

In many communities, this has resulted in the launch of new kids clubs, the strengthening of existing church programs, and in some cases, the birth of entirely new congregations.

Strengthening the Local Church

The School is built around decades of hands-on ministry experience. The curriculum addresses:
• Discipling children effectively
• Organizing sustainable kids clubs
• Strengthening Sunday school systems
• Developing leadership within ministry teams
• Creating structured discipleship pathways

Every lesson is intended for immediate application. Leaders return to their churches prepared to implement what they have learned.

To serve both local and international leaders, the School is offered in two formats:

  • A two-weekend model for leaders within Guatemala

  • A condensed intensive format for international participants
